David Kallus

David Kallus began his career as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Mary Lou Robinson, Northern District of Texas. Over a 30-plus year career he has litigated cases in a wide variety of areas, including business and commercial, construction, personal injury, property damage, consumer, and employment law. He has worked in both the private and public sector and spent 18 years as general counsel to AMX Management, Inc., a contractor. After obtaining his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, he attended South Texas College of Law where he served as the Executive Editor of the South Texas Law Review. In law school, he also interned for Judge Edith Jones of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is the author of ERISA: Do Health Care Providers Have Standing to Bring a Civil Enforcement Action Under Section 1132(a)?, 30 Santa Clara L. Rev. 173 (1990).
